Three tiers: (1) Damage/defect — report within 48 hours with photos to returns@francisretail.com; our team reviews it and chooses the fix — parts, repair, replacement, partial credit, or a return with refund — at no cost to you. (2) Change of mind on recliners — 7 days with our authorization, eligible Brand New / Open Box grades only, item must be unused and resalable, you pay the return transport, 15-30% restocking fee applies. What do the condition grades mean for recliners?

Accepted Answer

We grade on a clear scale: Brand New, New – Damaged Box, In Box Like New, Open Box (New / Like New / Good / Fair), Refurbished, Used, and As-Is / For Parts. Most recliners in our warehouse falls into an Open Box tier — basically new with imperfect packaging or a small cosmetic issue. We photograph every flaw so you see what you're getting before you pay.

Does recliners come with a warranty?

Accepted Answer

Manufacturer warranties usually do NOT transfer on liquidation recliners — check the listing for your specific unit. What we do cover: any undisclosed damage or defects reported within 48 hours of delivery — email returns@francisretail.com with photos, and we resolve it at our election (replacement parts, repair, a replacement unit, partial credit, or a return with refund) at no cost to you.

How does your reservation deposit system work for recliners?

Accepted Answer

Put down 10-20% to reserve a recliners piece for 24 hours through our reservation system. For Artesia buyers who need to drive in or arrange transport, it's the safe way to guarantee the piece. The deposit is applied in full to the final purchase total; cancellations are refunded less our actual, documented costs (or taken as store credit in full).

Do you carry power recliners?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. Power recliners — electric-motor reclining via a side button or panel — come through our stock. Some include USB charging ports, massage/heat, and headrest adjustment. Power is the easiest reclining mechanism, especially for seniors or anyone with limited shoulder mobility. Manual lever recliners are also stocked, priced lower.

Can your crew carry furniture up stairs to my Artesia apartment?

Stairs are fine. Our crew brings moving straps and blankets. For Artesia second- or third-floor units, add the floor count at checkout and the fee updates automatically — $25 per flight, or $25 flat for elevator buildings. Very tight staircases should be flagged in the order notes so we bring the right gear.
