Are your Costco-sourced products the exact same as in-warehouse Costco?
Identical products. Same brand, same model, same country of origin. The only difference is our sales channel: post-Costco liquidation instead of Costco retail. For Nuevo customers used to Costco's warehouse prices, ours are typically 40-60% cheaper on the same SKU.
What's your return policy on overstock?
Three tiers: (1) Damage/defect — report within 48 hours with photos to [email protected]; our team reviews it and chooses the fix — parts, repair, replacement, partial credit, or a return with refund — at no cost to you. (2) Change of mind on overstock — 7 days with our authorization, eligible Brand New / Open Box grades only, item must be unused and resalable, you pay the return transport, 15-30% restocking fee applies. How big is your Santa Fe Springs warehouse?
10,000 square feet of floor space, plus a loading dock and staging area. The showroom portion is arranged by category. Plan 30-60 minutes to cover the whole space on a first visit. Open Mon-Fri 9-5 and Saturday 10-4.
What exactly is "open box"?
The box was opened, the seal is broken, and the product is sold at a discount. Usually the product inside is brand-new — the buyer changed their mind, or the store display had its packaging opened. Rarely used. We inspect every open-box item before listing.
What's the difference between clearance and overstock at Francis Retail?
Overstock is always new/sealed. Clearance is our own internal "move this fast" pricing — can be any condition. Clearance items get marked down again because a truckload is incoming and we need the floor space. For the absolute lowest price, check clearance first.
How much cheaper is your overstock compared to retail?
Our overstock prices run 40-80% below retail. A piece that's $2,000 at a furniture store or a Costco warehouse might be $500-$800 here. The difference is the sales channel — we buy from retailer liquidation, not from wholesale or showroom floor, so our cost basis is much lower. Every listing shows the retail price next to ours so you can check the math.
